I’m not here to turn your wedding into a production or make you perform for the camera. I’ll step in with guidance when it helps, give you space when you need it, and make sure you actually get to be present with your people ... and meet you on the dance floor when duty calls.
Most of my couples swear they’re awkward in photos or hate being the center of attention, and then end up telling me the whole thing felt easy and unexpectedly fun.
Think of me as someone who blends in fast, keeps things relaxed, and knows when to quietly catch the moment ... or jump in and celebrate with you.

A lot of photographers will tell you they’ve always loved weddings. I didn’t. My first was over ten years ago — my ex-husband’s mom bought me a camera & gave me 6 months to learn it so I could photograph her $85k wedding.
What I realized fast is that weddings are chaos and beautiful at the same time. Huge feelings, complicated families, history happening in real time — two people standing up in front of everyone they love and saying this is my person. The person who’ll be there when life gets hard, when things change, when everything else moves.
I love all of it. I just don’t think anyone needs to follow some imaginary rulebook to make that moment real.
Rachel was our wedding photographer and she was amazing.

Your wedding is too important and too alive to spend it being managed by someone hovering at the edges with a long lens. I’m not interested in watching the dance floor from the corner... I’m probably already on it.
I’ve sprained my wrist doing the Wobble at a reception and kept shooting with a rapidly swelling arm, so commitment levels are established. I want to feel the energy of your day with you , the chaos, the joy, the loud ridiculous fun of it. If you want to headbang, get sweaty, hug everyone, and actually live inside your wedding instead of posing through it, I’m exactly your photographer.

Rachel was our wedding photographer and just WOW!!!! She truly made our day so incredibly special. From the first phone call, Rachel was beyond professional, kind, and easy going.
She goes through everything so thoroughly. We knew from the moment we spoke to her she would be PERFECT for our special day.
The day of wedding she was on time and just such a warm presence to be around and made us all feel so comfortable. She really understood what my husband and I were looking for on our wedding day.
But hands down the BEST part is the album she curates for you, you can’t put a price tag on it because it INCREDIBLE and something we will cherish forever.

My husband and I just got married this fall in Boulder, CO. Like most couples, we really wanted our wedding day to be captured perfectly and have amazing photos to cherish through the years.
